Who's Who    


Quality Solutions was first established in 1993.
It is run by John Harriyott.

  Prior to this John was actively involved in manufacturing.
Immediately before starting Quality Solutions he was Managing Director of a very well known Plastics Moulding company.
Prior to that he held posts as Technical / Manufacturing / Production manager at companies covering;
  Electronic connectors, automotive components, rubber(elastomer) mouldings, die casting, white metal bearings, high volume battery production and vacuum engineering.
His earlier career was as a Plastics and Rubber mould designer.
Sonia Harriyott ably assists in the running of the Business.

Quality Solutions is a committee member of Uckfield Chamber of Commerce.
John is a fellow of ICON (Independent Consultants Consortium)

A member of the Consortium who is engaged in the practice of management consultancy (either personally, or as a partner or employee of a firm, or as a director or employee of a company) undertakes to abide by the letter and spirit of the following code of professional and ethical conduct:
  1. To respect all confidentiality concerning a client's business and not disclose, or permit the disclosure, or use to the advantage of the consultant / consultancy any information without the clients permission.
  2. To undertake all assignments diligently, impartially, honestly and with all reasonable skill, care and attention.
  3. To accept only those assignments for which the consultant is qualified, experienced and able to carry out, and to ensure as far as possible that any others engaged to work on or assist with the assignment are also similarly qualified, experienced and able to carry out their work and responsibilities.
  4. To only specify and indicate genuine and realistic performance, achievements and/or results and not to make any false or misleading claims with regards to performance, achievements and/or results.
  5. A recommendation(s) made by a member should be made in good faith and on the basis of the information known at the time of making such a recommendation(s).
  6. To disclose to a client any personal or financial interest, gain or potential gain or other circumstances which may influence the outcome of an assignment, in particular : (i) any commission or similar benefit, (ii) any financial interest in goods/services recommended or supplied, (iii) any personal relationship with any individual employed by the client, (iv) the existence (but not the name) of any other current client with competing interests, and (v) any directorship or interest in any business in competition with the client.
  7. Not to invite any employee of a client to consider alternative employment unless agreed with the client in advance (in this context a press advertisement is considered to be an invitation to the world at large and not to an individual).
  8. Only to promote and obtain business and negotiate agreements and charges for services in an ethical, professional and dignified manner, and to be accurate and not misleading in any such dealings.
  9. Not to practice or undertake work during any period where judgement or capability is or might be impaired by any cause.
  10. To follow a regular course of action as required and designed to maintain professional skills and knowledge in the continuing change(s).

Failure to meet the standards and spirit of the above code could result in a member being subject to disciplinary action including dismissal.
